How we helped renowned artist Alexander Rhys to launch his limited edition print range
We have been producing bespoke tray frames for renowned artist Alexander Rhys for some time now, and his focus has always been on selling originals of his fantastic abstract but recently he decided he wanted to explore the prospect of creating limited edition fine art prints of his work.
Having previously only dealt with originals, we talked Alexander through the scanning process, whereby we use our high-resolution fine art scanner to create digital files from his originals. Once we have scanned in the artwork, we check the colours to ensure that the prints are a true representation of his work.
Once we were happy with the colours, we printed a series of fine art giclée prints on our Precision Textured 300gsm paper, printed on our Canon Pro 4100 printer. Alexander was delighted with the colour accuracy and quality of the prints, which has given him an additional revenue stream on his website https://www.alexanderrhys.com/shop/limited-edition-prints
As well as producing his prints, we also framed some of his stunning original artwork on canvas. He chose a open grain black tray frame, which gives a stylish and professional finish to his artwork.
Alex said: “Precision have great in-depth knowledge surrounding bespoke framing for original paintings as well as having an array of options for prints for my collectors worldwide. I’d never use anyone else now!”
